This free website, began in April 2009, provides a quick way to learn a specific piano piece. For the simpler pieces, the method is based on imitating and repeating. It's important to understand that this site is not appropriate for those who want to become serious pianists. We recommend that all of you learn to read music and simply use these tutorials as references.
Originally the site was intended for teenagers who already play some piano but want help on their favorite songs. However more songs have been added, and the site is now suitable not just for teens, but for anyone who takes or took piano lessons, and even for beginners.
Jane is a retired college math teacher. She spends most of her spare time making piano tutorials because she knows that many love to play piano but have no opportunity for private lessons. Her husband Michael helps with this website. In August 2011, Jane began to add mathematics tutorials.
